Evergreen, CO— It’s a partnership almost too perfect for words: the developer of exquisite mountain home sites and builder of exceptional homes choosing to contribute to the community in a way that promotes the importance of home.
Cub Creek Ranch and its developer, David Graham, are using their new development as an opportunity to make a difference. Stemming from a commitment to charitable giving, they have created an alliance with Mt. Evans Hospice and Home Health Care, a local nonprofit that has been providing much needed home health services to mountain-area residents since 1980.
Evergreen’s newest development—Cub Creek Ranch—sits at the end of one of the area’s most breathtaking drives, Little Cub Creek Road, and is surrounded by thousands of acres of open space with awe-inspiring views. The homes built on this land match the stunning vistas and thanks to Graham’s generosity, Mt Evans Hospice and Home Health Care is benefiting from the sale of every exclusive home site. One percent of the sale of each of the 49 custom home sites will be donated to Mt. Evans, a contribution totaling over $250K.
Graham, a long-time supporter of Mt Evans, knows that the agency has touched many lives in the Evergreen community, including his own. When his father and later his brother were terminally ill, “Mt. Evans Hospice made a difficult time more bearable,” he says.
Graham also believes that “local businesses generate their livelihood from the community and giving back builds a stronger community for everyone.” To this end, he helped establish the organization’s Freedom Run 5K in the 1980s, as well as its Seasons of Our Mountains calendar contest and other fund-raising events. The Cub Creek Ranch partnership is simply another way to continue his support of Mt. Evans Hospice.
Mt. Evans Hospice and Home Health Care is both impressed with Graham’s commitment to making a difference and elated that Mt. Evans is the recipient of his generosity. They are grateful for this affiliation and admire the importance Cub Creek Ranch and Dave Graham are placing on not just building beautiful homes, but finding a way to make their development benefit the community as well.
Donations from the Cub Creek partnership will help Mt. Evans care for underinsured and uninsuredpatients as well as support numerous services provided to the mountain-area community including grief counseling, transportation for patients to medical appointments, respite care for family caregivers, and Camp Comfort, a bereavement camp for children.
